Empire Airlines is a FedEx Feeder operating a fleet of ATR 42s, ATR 72s, & Caravan 208s throughout the Western United States.

Empire has been in business since 1977 and a FedEx Feeder operator since 1988; our current fleet consists of 18 ATRs and 37 Caravan 208s.

ATP-CTP Certification Assistance!

Empire provides up to $6,000 towards the cost of an ATP Certification Program. Also, 12 months after I.O.E. completion, employee will be eligible the $6,000 Hire-on-Bonus Program.

Upgrade First Officers!

After 12 cumulative months in revenue service, First Officer's that are in good standing and meet FAR minimums may be eligible for upgrade.  If 121 Captain requirements are met prior to the 12 months, First Officer's may also be eligible for upgrade.

135 to 121 Transition with Salary Carry-Over!

After 2 years flying as a Caravan Captain with Empire, those that are interested in transitioning from the Caravan to the ATR before 121 PIC minimums are met, can transition to the ATR and carry over their Caravan Captain salary for up to 4 years flying as a First Officer while continuing to build time to meet 121 PIC minimums and upgrade once met.

Cargo Feeder A&P Mechanic Information

What happens on the ground is just as important as in the air. Whether it is routine maintenance or an unscheduled repair, our onsite Maintenance employees make sure our aircraft is in perfect working order prior to takeoff.

Empire's goal for our Maintenance Department is to not only repair and maintain our aircraft, but to ensure they have the tools and opportunities to do so to the highest standard with an emphasis on providing a safe work environment, promoting a culture of open, honest and direct communication and to build Empire Airlines as a great place to work.

Empire's Mechanics and Avionics Technicians are encouraged to use all of their knowledge and skills learned during training or prior experience to troubleshoot, inspect, test, replace, dismantle, alter, fabricate and repair the airframe components, engines, and the various pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems installed on the FedEx Feeder fleet. A variety of tools and equipment are used, including precision measuring equipment, pneumatic devices, electrical testing devices, general shop equipment, ground support equipment and computers.
